Authentic Ayurveda with a Legacy of 100+ Years
At the heart of our Ayurveda hospital lies a time-honored tradition passed down through generations. Our story begins with N.S. Ayyappan Nadeppilli Vaidyar, a revered traditional healer with over 45 years of dedicated service in snakebite treatment, a rare and life-saving skill inherited from his ancestors.
Born into a family deeply rooted in Ayurvedic healing traditions, Ayyappan Vaidyar began his journey in 1953 after his initial studies. He established his pharmacy and treatment center in Mattoor, where people from far and wide came seeking his expertise, especially in critical cases of envenomation.
With a legacy of more than 100 years of tradition, his journey in traditional healing is deeply rooted in a rich lineage of knowledge and experience. He was trained under Rev. Bro. Simon Moolekkatte and Rev. Bro. Antony Pannackkal (CMI)(St. Antony's Vishachikitsalayam Kottayam), whose guidance laid a strong foundation in holistic therapies. He went on to study Siddha medicine under Bramananda Swamikal, gaining deep insights into one of India's oldest systems of healing.
His expertise in Bala Chikitsa (paediatric care) was shaped by his learning under the respected Iringol Velaydan Vaidyar, further broadening his capabilities in Ayurvedic treatment. In addition to his formal training, he also inherited traditional Ayurvedic knowledge from his mother and Uncle Krishnan Vaidyar, preserving the essence of ancestral wisdom and integrating it into his practice. His interest in Panchakarma, Post Natal Care, Bala Chikitsa and advanced therapies continued.
Carrying this sacred legacy forward is Dr. Rajendran Nadeppilly, the eldest son of Ayyappan Vaidyar. A qualified BAMS graduate from Arya Vaidya Medical College, Coimbatore, Dr. Rajendran is now serving as a Medical Officer for the Government.
While his expertise spans across various domains, such as effective treatment for Back pain, Knee pain, Joint pain, Diabetes, Asthma, Obesity, Migraine, Depression, Arthritis, Neck Pain, Frozen Shoulder, Spondylosis, PCOD, Psoriasis and other Skin diseases, Hair fall, Piles, Acne etc his core strength and primary focus remain on snakebite treatment, continuing the family’s mission to serve and heal.
Carrying forward his late father's legacy of traditional Ayurvedic wisdom, the son, armed with modern Ayurvedic education, continues to offer authentic and effective care rooted in generations of healing expertise.
